Preparation

  1. VIEW: 12A Brochure Project and 12A Sample Blog Post

Instructions

Your Brochure Draft A for this week should include the following:

• An appealing layout design
• 1 logo (personally created for this project)
• 4 quality images (not the logo)
• Duplex print (2 sided)
• Straight/crisp folds
• Full bleed edge
• Use filler-text (right click inside text box and choose “Insert with Placeholder Text”) or boxes to represent text placement

Next week you will add in your body copy, a cleanly clipped image, text wrap, and fine tune your layout for Brochure Draft B.

1. Open InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to start designing. Project drafts should be printed, 90% complete and include 100% of the projects requirements (see rubric on the 12A Brochure Project)

2. BODY COPY: You are required to have a minimum of 250 original words in at least three paragraphs. You may not use pre-existing copy; it must all be written by you specifically for this project. Write this content in a Word document and include titles/subtitles to help organize the content. Submit a Word document here.  Name your file: “11ABodyCopy-JakeSpencer” (with your name). Also submit the keywords from the vital information video in the comments.

SUBMISSION
